In the summer of 2015 I attended an immersive art experience in Italy. The 2 week program offered an in-depth course in oil painting the Italian countryside. This trip was my first time being exposed to a new culture outside of the United States, and my first time oil painting! Getting the chance to learn from my mentors and my peers, while taking in the beautiful scenery, was an experience that I will never forget.
